February 2023 - Results!

Swanage & Purbeck Rotary Young Musician Competition

Congratulations to all candidates in the annual competition held on 5th February 2023. We were treated to an afternoon of enthusiastic and inspiring music-making from young musicians aged 9 to 16, with the winners selected to perform at the District Heat held at Canford School on Sunday 19th February.

Informal Concert

Informal concert at United Reformed Church, Swanage 6pm. All standards welcome, piano accompaniment available, please let us know if you would like to play: instruments@purbeckyouthmusic.org

These concerts run each term in 2025 on Monday 17th March and Thursday 26th June.

2025 sees the return of the annual competition, open to all ages and levels. Entry details here.

Tuesday 25th March

Singing Schools!

Swanage Singing Schools concert at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Swanage 2pm.

Year 3 & 4 children from Swanage Primary, St Mark’s, St Mary’s, Corfe Castle and St George’s Primaries singing a selection of songs all together and by individual school.

Friday 28th March

Singing Schools!

Wareham Singing Schools concert at Lady St Mary’s Church, Wareham 2pm.

Year 3 & 4 children from Wareham St Mary’s, Stoborough, Wool St Mary & St Joseph and Wool C of E Primaries singing a selection of songs all together and by individual school.
